your boyfriend is coming

Have you heard of Kate Walsh's new perfume, called Boyfriend?  Apparently it's a masculine/feminine mash-up meant to evoke the scent of man, while still remaining feminine. Ummm, I WANT. I wistfully meander to the men's cologne counter at the department store, taking in each scent while wishing one of them was wearable enough for me. Even though I enjoy them, a lot of men's cologne is too strong and I definitely do not want to come off reeking of a dude. So, if Boyfriend delivers on it's promise, I will be thrilled.

The best part is, it comes in a lovely five-piece kit! Included in the kit is an eau de parfum spray, dry body oil, pulse-point oil, body cream and candle, all contained in a gorgeous black case.

I think this will be available at Sephora this February. Hey boyfriends! This would make a lovely Valentine's Day gift ;)

In the meantime, check out Kate Walsh's YouTube channel, devoted entirely to the Boyfriend ad campaign. Kate stars in a series of short videos called, "Your Boyfriend is Coming." The series is an attempt to tell the story behind the perfume and act as mini teasers leading up to the release. I watched them all and I have to say, Kate is hilarious!
